Spain Beat France 2-0 to Reach First FIFA World Cup Final Since 2010

Spain extended its advantage in the 58th minute through Pedro Porro, who finished off a well-worked attacking move after combining with Dani Olmo.

Mbappé Unable to Inspire France

Despite entering the semi-final as one of the tournament's standout performers, Kylian Mbappé was unable to make the desired impact.

France had entered the semi-final unbeaten and was aiming to reach its third straight FIFA World Cup final after winning the title in 2018 and finishing runner-up in 2022.

However, Spain's composed display ended that run, sending Didier Deschamps' side into the third-place playoff instead.
