Day One Expected to Witness Heated Debate Over Proposed Legislation, National Issues and Political Protests

The Monsoon Session of Parliament begins today, July 20, with expectations of an eventful opening day as the government prepares to introduce several important bills while the Opposition is set to raise multiple political and public-interest issues. The session is scheduled to continue until August 13, providing lawmakers with nearly four weeks to debate legislation, discuss national concerns, and conduct parliamentary business.
