Bihar Weather Today: IMD Issues Orange Alert for Patna and Several Districts Amid Rain and Thunderstorm Forecast

Bihar Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for parts of Bihar on Wednesday, warning of rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in several districts, including Patna. Heavy rainfall has also been forecast for parts of northeastern Bihar as monsoon activity remains active across the state.

Orange Alert Issued for Patna and Nearby Districts

According to the latest weather update, the IMD has placed several areas under an Orange Alert due to the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.

Apart from Patna, alerts have also been issued for parts of Arwal, Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Vaishali, and Saran districts. Weather conditions are expected to remain unstable during the day, with intermittent showers likely in many locations.
