LPG Cylinder Prices Rise From September 1: Check New Commercial Rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Other Cities

LPG consumers have received a fresh price update at the beginning of September 2026. Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of certain liquefied petroleum gas cylinders from September 1, making commercial LPG more expensive across several cities in India.

The latest revision primarily affects 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders, which are widely used by restaurants, hotels, cafés, caterers, food stalls and other commercial establishments. Prices of 5-kg LPG cylinders have also been increased.

Commercial LPG Cylinder Becomes Costlier From September 1

The new LPG rates came into effect on September 1, 2026. Commercial cylinder prices have increased in cities ranging from Delhi and Mumbai to Kolkata, Chennai and Patna.

The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased by ₹158, taking the new rate to ₹2,896 per cylinder.

In Kolkata, the commercial cylinder has become ₹166 costlier and is now priced at ₹3,038.50.

Businesses in Mumbai will have to pay ₹2,846.50 for a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder following an increase of ₹155.

In Chennai, the price has climbed by ₹165.50 to ₹3,071.50 per cylinder.

Meanwhile, commercial LPG users in Patna will now have to spend ₹3,197.50 for a 19-kg cylinder after a price increase of ₹179.50.
